Everyone was just one pick away when their phone buzzed. Even lots of companies digitalised their platforms for marketing. The way of communication was Zoom, Google meet, and Skype. WhatsApp was not used much in the corporate world as they had a fallback in their call features. Well, now WhatsApp has updated itself and launched a new feature called “Joinable Calls”. What do you mean by Joinable Calls?

Earlier, when the users did not receive a call, it used to go straight to a missed call. Now they have launched a new feature, that allows you to attend the call even after you have missed the ongoing call. The new feature “joining calls” also has the advantage of monitoring the video call as to who is present and who isn’t with the new information screen and also those who did not join the call.

How does it work?

This new updated feature has made the lives of the users easy as they can now connect the call or rejoin the call whenever they want, as long as the call is active. Doesn’t this remind you of other similar applications like Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams as they also have the same functioning terms for making a video call?

An invitee can join a group call that is already in progress by going into WhatsApp's call section and selecting "Join a Group Call". The users are relieved that they do not have to pick up the phone right away, as many of them used to panic if they missed a call.
