AI Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a curious and product-minded AI Engineer to join IKF’s growing AI team. The ideal candidate should be able to transform real business problems into useful, reliable, and production-ready AI applications.

This role goes beyond prompt writing or adding chatbots to existing products. You will work across AI agents, conversational experiences, tool integrations, business workflows, backend systems, databases, and user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered products from concept to production.
• Develop AI agents and multi-step workflows for real business use cases.
• Design prompts, agent instructions, tool definitions, structured outputs, memory strategies, and multi-step AI workflows.
• Integrate LLMs from providers such as OpenAI, Google, Groq, DeepSeek, or other compatible platforms.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, OAuth, MCP, webhooks, databases, and third-party services.
• Develop full-stack AI applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Build systems that work with documents, business data, user inputs, and external platforms.
• Evaluate and improve AI application performance, reliability, accuracy, latency, and cost.
• Test, debug, deploy, and maintain AI products in production environments.
• Review and improve AI-generated code for architecture, security, maintainability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product, design, leadership, and business teams to translate requirements into working AI solutions.
• Research and experiment with emerging AI models, frameworks, tools, and interaction patterns.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in AI application development, software engineering, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or both, with experience building full-stack applications using frameworks such as FastAPI, Next.js, and React.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, AI agents, prompt design, tool calling, structured outputs, memory, and multi-step workflows.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, OAuth, MCP, webhooks, databases, and third-party services.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, authentication, backend architecture, and production application development.
• Ability to evaluate, debug, deploy, and improve AI applications for accuracy, reliability, performance, and cost.
• Strong product thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into working AI solutions.
