Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Head to lead the end-to-end human resource function at IKF — a 25-year-old full-service digital transformation agency. This role is 70% recruitment-focused and 30% HR generalist, ideal for a leader who enjoys building strong teams and shaping a positive, performance-driven work culture.
You’ll oversee hiring across IT, creative, and marketing domains — from developers and designers to content creators, social media professionals, and sales executives. The ideal candidate is hands-on with sourcing, shortlisting, and interviewing while also managing HR processes, employee engagement, and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (70%)
- Manage the entire recruitment cycle — from job posting, sourcing, and screening to interviews and final selection.
- Hire for diverse roles across the agency, including:
- IT & Technical: Website Developers, PHP Developers, Java Developers, Technical Support Executives.
- Creative & Design: Graphic Designers, Web Designers, UI/UX Designers.
- Marketing & Strategy: Social Media Executives, Performance Marketing Executives, SEO Specialists, Copywriters, Content Writers.
- Sales & Operations: Business Development Executives, Account Managers, Project Coordinators.
- Develop a structured hiring pipeline ensuring quick turnaround for priority positions.
- Build strong candidate pipelines using job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social platforms, and internal referrals.
- Conduct telephonic and in-person interviews, evaluating both skill fit and cultural fit.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower forecasting and timely resource allocation.
- Maintain recruitment dashboards and performance metrics for management review.
- Implement AI-based hiring and pre-screening tools to optimize sourcing and shortlisting.
2. HR Generalist & People Operations (30%)
- Oversee HR operations, onboarding, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Manage new joiner orientation and ensure a smooth employee onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with department leads for role clarity, KRA design, and appraisal cycles.
- Implement and monitor HR policies, attendance systems, and compliance protocols.
- Organize team-building, learning, and recognition initiatives that strengthen culture.
- Handle grievance management with empathy and maintain workplace discipline.
- Support leadership in succession planning, retention, and workforce development.
- Manage HR documentation — offer letters, NDAs, appraisals, and exit formalities.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of overall HR experience with at least 2.5 years in recruitment leadership.
- Proven experience hiring for IT, creative, and digital marketing roles in an agency or tech environment.
- Excellent sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, and social hiring platforms.
- Sound understanding of modern hiring practices, interview techniques, and cultural assessment.
- Working knowledge of HR operations — payroll coordination, onboarding, policy management, and compliance.
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in using ATS/CRM systems and AI tools for hiring optimization is an added advantage.
